Like every stone from our workshop it is a unique piece, available only once.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHere the fancy cut follows the shape the rough piece dictated: an elongated outline with cut corners and broad step facets. Above ten carats every decision counts double — what is once gone does not come back.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eAbout tourmaline\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHardly any mineral covers as many colours as tourmaline. This stone shows a strong pink to red with a darker zone — colour zoning belongs to the character of tourmaline and is not a flaw. How the stone is oriented decides its colour — and that decision is made before the first cut.
